Our animals have come to us for a variety of reasons. Some have had a sad and upsetting past. Others have arrived at Kays Hill because they can no longer be cared for by loving owners due to a change in personal circumstances.
Sometimes we help other rescues and sanctuaries by providing space for animals that they have no room for. There are also those animals, birds or reptiles that the public have found, either lost or injured, who need to have a place to recover and, if necessary, live.
All are welcome at Kays Hill Animal Sanctuary.
The Animal Sanctuary is staffed by volunteers and funded by donations.
We have over 200 animals to cater for at any one time. The diversity of species on site means that we are constantly stocking up on many different types of food and bedding. The pens, cages, fields, stables and buildings need to be constantly maintained and, of course, the vets are regular visitors to ensure all the animals are kept healthy and happy.
We are extremely grateful for all donations received. Monetary donations or alternatively food, bedding, anything to make our animals more comfortable, content and happy.
